The Russian Karelia wilderness is very rich of game and in addition to the most wanted game, that means bear, are among other things woodcock, gallinaceous birds (capercaillie, black grouse, hazel grouse, willow grouse), lynx or even wolf. The hunting in Russia is emphasized on autumn, but it is possible to hunt gallinaceous birds, bears and geese in spring, too.
The terrains in Swedish Lapland are rich of gallinaceous birds and the hunting time is considerably longer then the Finnish hunting times. The hunting of gallinaceous birds begins already on August, 25 and it ends in the end of January. Hunting terrains are suitable for standing and barking dogs.
In Finnish Karelia you can choose moose, woodcock, beaver, gallinaceous birds and waterfowls or their combination.
During your hunting trips of wild boar and roe deer, which leads you in autumn to Saarenmaa / Estonia, it is possible to hunt geese and other waterfowls which are on the migration fly.
Although we have thought some, so called “standard packages”, we arrange our trips always according to the wishes of the customers.
If not otherwise mutually agreed, the hunting trip package includes Finnish, English speaking and local guide(s) who know the hunting area, gun permission, hunting licence, accommodation, transport and full board. Other services such as dogs, guns etc we will arrange according to the wishes of the customer, too.
Please become acquainted with our “standard packages” and do not hesitate to contact with us. We will make you an offer according to your wishes.
